Unified Limited Warranty

Artificial Plants Unlimited (APU) warrants to the original purchaser that its faux plant products are free from defects in materials and workmanship that occur as a direct result of the manufacturing process, under normal use and service, for a period of one (1) year from the invoice date.

This warranty applies only to APU products and does not cover any materials or components unrelated to faux plants. This warranty is nontransferable and applies only to the original purchaser. The warranty period begins on the invoice date shown on the purchase documentation.

Notification of Warranty Claim

If a defect covered under this warranty is discovered, the purchaser must notify APU in writing within 30 days of discovering the issue and prior to any repair, alteration, or removal of the product.

The written notice must include:

• A description of the claimed defect
• Clear photographs showing the defect
• Proof of purchase (invoice)

APU must be allowed reasonable time to inspect the product. If APU determines that the claim is valid under warranty, APU will, at its sole discretion:

• Repair the defective product, or
• Replace the defective product, or
• Refund the original purchase price (invoice)

Replacement items may vary slightly in color or appearance and are not guaranteed to be an exact match. Any repair or replacement does not extend the original warranty period.

APU’s total liability will not exceed the original purchase price of the warranted product. Labor, removal, installation, equipment, or any associated costs are not covered.

Limitations of Warranty

This warranty is void under any of the following conditions:

• Improper installation or failure to follow APU guidelines.
• Damage caused by accidents, vandalism, misuse, neglect, or improper handling or storage.
• Unauthorized modifications or repairs.
• Exposure to chemicals, paints, or cleaners not approved by APU.
• Environmental conditions such as extreme weather, UV exposure, fading, discoloration, or normal material aging.
• Damage caused by improper mounting, inadequate support, or structural movement at the installation site.
• Exposure to corrosive environments or pollutants

Normal fading, color variation, or weathering of faux foliage is not considered a defect.

Freight and Transit

Damage that occurs during transit is not covered under this warranty. Any visible freight damage must be documented upon delivery while the product is still on the pallet. Concealed freight damage must be reported within the carrier’s required claim window.

APU may assist with claim documentation, but the freight carrier is responsible for transit-related damage.

Disclaimer of Other Warranties

THIS ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY PROVIDED BY ARTIFICIAL PLANTS UNLIMITED AND IS IN PLACE OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

ARTIFICIAL PLANTS UNLIMITED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, PROJECT DELAYS, OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY.

Some states or provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages; therefore, these limitations may not apply to all purchasers. This warranty provides specific legal rights, and additional rights may vary by jurisdiction.
