600 Washington
At Artificial Plants Unlimited, we were thrilled to collaborate with award-winning ambient designer Roel Ventura of Ambius on a custom project for 600 Tower, a newly renovated corporate high-rise in downtown St. Louis. Ventura sought the lush aesthetic of live plants - without the upkeep, cost, or mess of natural foliage. Our solution: Replica Succulent Panels featuring lifelike indoor artificial succulents arranged in a continuous, cohesive pattern.
We fabricated three 16-foot-tall panels using a rich mix of green and burgundy faux echeveria, agave, sedum, and other textured succulents for the main lobby, along with a smaller matching panel near the elevators. Because the panels couldn’t be wall-mounted, we engineered custom ceiling-suspended frames with cable support and hardware that blended seamlessly with the panels’ silver PVC trim. The finished installation created a striking street-visible display that delighted both Ventura and his client. “In person, the lobby panels are even more impressive - especially in the evening!” he shared after the installation.
