At Sesame Place

At Sesame Place® in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, maintaining live topiaries of beloved characters like Elmo, Big Bird, and Snuffy posed ongoing challenges - from high upkeep to inconsistent aesthetics.  That’s when the park’s creative team turned to Artificial Plants Unlimited for a solution that could meet their exacting brand standards while delivering lasting visual impact.  The goal: bring these iconic characters to life in oversized, ultra-durable artificial form, with lifelike detail that would hold up to outdoor elements year-round.

Using 3D character models provided by Sesame Place, our team engineered custom steel armatures with powder-coated finishes, ensuring structural strength and weather resistance.  Each topiary was meticulously hand-covered with UV-rated, outdoor-grade foliage by our artisans, capturing even the most nuanced facial expressions and gestures.  The result is a set of towering, brand-accurate figures that are not only maintenance-free but also easy to install - shipped LTL and assembled seamlessly by the park’s in-house crew.  Positioned at the main entrance, these playful and photogenic showpieces reflect Artificial Plants Unlimited’s ability to merge themed design, engineering precision, and long-term durability into unforgettable guest experiences.
